Students should arrive 5 minutes before the designated meeting time. This information will be shared via Remind a week before the competition.
Students must wear the designated competition shirt which is provided by the Parent Booster Club at the beginning of the year. A long-sleeved shirt is required for students competing in FTC and Greenpower. Short-sleeved shirts are fine for the other competitions. Students should wear closed-toed schools. TSA has specific requirements for attire. The shirt and tie will be provided.
Students should remain in the competition area with the mentors at all times. If they need to leave the area, they need to notify the mentor and take another student with them.
Snacks, drinks and meals are provided for the students and mentors at the competitions.
Parents are encouraged to attend all competitions. It is important to remember that there are parent mentors who have been working with the teams from the beginning of the year. Please follow the instructions and requests from the mentors. If they need assistance, they will ask a parent directly.
Students are expected to show gracious professionalism at all times during competitions. They are to be supportive and helpful to all competitors at the events. Please model that behavior for them when you are attending competitions.
Competitions that require overnight stays will have the guidelines distributed prior to the event.
