How to support your steam team student

• Ask about the competition they are working on. Confirm they understand the requirements and due dates for all of the elements. 

• Consistent attendance at practices and events is very important.

• Stay up to date on information in Remind and in the Newsletter.  

• Help your student to manage their time between STEAM, school and other activities. 

• Notify the faculty advisor in advance if a student will not be able to attend a competition event or must leave early. 

• Teach them to be punctual to practice and events. 

• Attend parent meetings and Parent Booster Club meetings. 

• Attend as many of the events your student is participating in as possible.  Your presence matters to them. 

• Volunteer to help through the Booster Club.

• Purchase STEAM Team spirit wear and wear it to all STEAM Team competitions
